I used to think that low rise was the best way to go since my jeans used to irritate the hell outta my belly ring. Then, as a lark, I tried on mid-rise jeans, totally planning to laugh at the Mom Jean effect. But they made me look so much THINNER!! Who knew that I was looking heavier because my jeans always fell below my belly!? WHY DON'T THEY TELL US THESE THINGS!!!??

It's not cute, it's not cool, it's not even tolerable. And stop wearing pajama pants out in public with UGG Boots!!!! Good Times!
