Posts: 116 Jul 8 09 2:52 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Dave already said she is not available for the show. http://monstermaniacon.yuku.com/topic/6872?page=6 Her official site does have a section for convention appearances (which is currently listed as none scheduled), so maybe that leaves chance for a future convention and she just was not available during the weekend of MM13.

Posts: 6697 Jul 8 09 5:21 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Nothing at MM is ever pointless, Felissa will do great at a show if she is by herself or with a group of fellow castmates. I met her four times, once at the big reunion, and three times when she was by herself or one other cast member. This movie has an amazing following, the line for them in 2000 was wrapped around the hotel and that wasn't over one person. I'm sure Felissa will be at MM when her schedule allows it. I hope so, she is a fun person to meet! She likes to do the "Angela" face. LOL! "You see, Jason was my son....and today is his birthday."

If not, I'm not even going to attempt to get the other Sleepaway Camp cast members to sign my poster. I'm not going to spend all that money on a project that I won't ever be able to complete.

It gives you something to look forward to and reason to go to more conventions. If you like the movie and the characters that the actors/actresses played, why would you give up the chance? If you do meet Felissa one day, you'll wish you had the others.

The sad thing is, years ago, before I even knew what Sleepaway Camp was, my ex and I attended some horror themed convention in New York City. I can't remember if it was a %!!!@@ Theatre or a @!%+# event, but guess who was there? Felissa Rose and the rest of the Sleepaway Camp cast. Of course, I had no interest in meeting them, because I had never heard of the movie back then. I was more concerned with meeting Kane Hodder, Danielle Harris and Tom Atkins. If I could kick myself in the ass, I would.

These SC people are awesome though and you may be surprised with the money you are gonna spend. That show in NY is the big reunion I was at...and we went specifically for them. Everyone else there was just a bonus. LOL! Here is the group shot I got with the director holding up my custom airbrushed shirt. "You see, Jason was my son....and today is his birthday."

I remember the huge line they had at that show, definitely longer than the ones my ex and I waited in for Kane Hodder, Gunnar Hansen and Tom Atkins. I'm going to go ahead and get the poster signed. It's rare to get such a large portion of a movie cast at a convention like this. So far, my haul from PA consists of a Sleepaway Camp poster and a Friday the 13th, Part 5 poster. Does anybody know if any of the Killer Tomato movies had official posters? I can't think of anything else for John Astin to sign. I was never a big Addams Family fan, but I loved him as Dr. Gangrene!

We're still getting a Sleepaway Camp reunion with a bunch of rare guests, Dave is very aware of what the fans want and I'm sure in time he will get Felissa one way or another. Personally, I've never met Felissa and was hoping to have everyone there to sign a poster but what can you do, right? I'm just happy to be seeing an awesome Sleepaway Camp reunion overrall. Can't wait till August!
