Hey everyone,
After posting my review of Hostel in the Hostel thread I recieved a few requests to share some of my photos from the premiere at this years Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto Canada so finally here they are. This was the VERY first public screening of the film, it was screened as a work in progress so it was completely uncut and some scenes didn't even have music. The film was great though and to be honest I felt they could have released it the next day!
The event was really cool, Eli Roth (the director) introduced the film and then after the screening the cast did a Q/A session answering questions from the audience. It was a lot of fun and everyone had a good time.
Even after we were ushered out of the theatre for the next film the cast all hung out down at the entrance answering questions and signing autographs for everyone, it was really cool.
Anyways, here are the photos;

Here's a shot of the cast on stage after the film, unfortunately it was a bit dark and didn't turn out too well.
From left to right are; Eythor Gudjonsson "Ollie", Eli Roth, Colin Gedes (the head of Midnight madness at the film festival) and Barbara Nedeljakova "Natalya"

Eli outside after the screening (This was right before an usher came up and informed Eli someone had fainted during the screening, which he thought was fantastic!)

Meeting Eli Roth after the screening

Eythor Gudjonsson plays Oli in the film...aka "The King of Swing" One of the 3 back packers.
He came all the way from Iceland for the Festival!

Barbara Nedeljakova plays Natalya, one of the roommates at the Hostel, she came over from Prague, Czech Republic for the festival.

Here's my Program booklet with tickets signed by Eli Roth, Eythor Gudjonsson and Barbara Nedeljakova.
They also had the producer there but unfortunately I missed him. All of the cast were really cool though and stayed and signed autographs and talked to fans after the screening. Everyone was having a great time and were very excited to hear what everyone thought of the film.
The Toronto film fest is alot of fun and there are a lot of big names in attendance, if any of you are ever up in Toronto in September some time I'd highly suggest checking it out, its a lot of fun!
