Posts: 3298 May 9 12 10:06 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The mature fan in me had A LOT of fun this season. - I got quite a few free Egg McMuffins thanks to Claude Giroux. (If the Flyers score 4 goals or more at home, you get a free Egg McMuffin the next morning. Lots of overtime for those chickens.) - All 3 games of the outdoor series; something I will NEVER forget. Despite a Rangers win in the Classic, it was incredible. - Seeing Danny Briere actually get into a fight & scoring a hat trick against Ottawa. - Hartnell winning a regular season game against Pittsburgh with 9/10's of a second left in OT. - The now infamous "Game 3" against Pittsburgh in the playoffs. If you were not there, you missed out on something special. - Meeting the legend, Jaromir Jagr. I hope he's back next year. - Hanging with Dave at games. The "immature" fan in me has to wonder where all of these Devils "fans" are coming from all of a sudden. I'll give it to Penguins, Rangers, & Bruins fans. The support & passion their fans have is incredible. Met a few really cool ones at home games this season. But Devils "fans"? Please...crawl back into whatever hole you're coming out of. A perfect example would be the woman (and I use the term loosely) near Dave last week. "I hate Philadelphia. I got stabbed at the last Flyers game I went to. Blah blah blah blah blah." Honey, you're lucky nobody finished the job with the way you were behaving. Until next season, here's to a summer of beating Sidney on the golf course as well.

Thanks for hooking me up with the Winter Classic tickets, they made for an awesome Christmas gift and my second most enjoyable time at Citizens Bank Park (the World Series final game in 2008 was tops). Really disappointed about the end of the run for the Cup but in all honesty when I heard about the Carter and Richards trades I never expected they'd make it as far as they did. Gotta admit once March hit and Bryz got his game back I really thought they were going to be hoisting Sir Stanley but maybe next year.

Definitely will be interesting to see how the rest of this year's playoffs turn out. I'm taking a week off from hockey to mourn LOL but I'll definitely be watching the end of the Conference finals and then the Cup finals.
