I want in hopping it was a good movie. I love monster movies may  it be big, mutated, or human made monster. Well the first mistake was paying $28.00 for three  3-d tickets. I try to stay away from 3-d as much as possible but there was no 2-D option in my area. The movie started it out okay then it goes down hill with hardly no plot and hardly no killings.

****** Spoiler Alert************
The movie has a group of college kids going on a trip to unwind. Of course they threw a girl with taking them back to the town she lived on by the lake. The cast is some what made up as no names. some are TV shows and some played in movies. Joel David More places in it from hatch and his part was great. Their is one character that will piss you off and you hope he dies but he doesn't until close to the ending and that is the character Malik. He is an African American college football star getting ready to be drafted to the NFL and he wants to propose to his girlfriend who came from the ghetto to college with him. He survives getting his arm bit off, his leg getting bitten, and he just seems to be the main person who screws it up for everyone. It basically the rest of the movie gets confusing these hillbillies and the sheriff puts these sharks in the lake so they can film them eating people and then sell the tapes and make some doe. There is some funny parts in it and the 3-d isn't bad and some of the acting is good. One final thing the CGI sharks suck. Give me old school jaws any day. I think their is some better shark low budget movies then this. Ill take jaws and sharks in venice any day. If you go and see it, go see it in 2-d or download it. i hope this helps.
