I saw this in the store the other day, for some reason I think i remembered seeing someone post the trailer for it a while back so I picked it up... Now i don't know what i expected from this, or why i expected anything at all... but I did, and I feel like it truely fialed me on almost every level possible, the characters were nothing to write home about, the death sceens were mostley lame, the fight sequences weren't anything special either... I'm curious to know what anyone...

I just got in from seeing this (in very limited release right now) and let me say that if you were at all a fan of the original you HAVE to see this. I was worried that Duffy would ruin the original by trying to make a sequel but when he said he made it for the fans he wasn't kidding. The movie was just awesome and the ending was perfect. I suspect there will be a third film and I cannot wait. This was everything I had hoped for and then some which says a lot since the original is one...

well what did you think. I enjoyed the twists and liked some of what was revealed by this film. I think it was worth it, it didnt make me want the franchise to be over like part five, but in the same token, i really hope part seven ends it

Well i can see why it took years for this to come out. Visually it looked amazing, but lacked major substance. Played out more like a Spike Jonze music video. Also this really isnt a kids movie at all.

This is a great one. I loved everything about it. The effects were a little primitive but that is the beauty of this film. I thought this was a great story, it had a fantastic back story in it, and the deaths in this film are graphic and awesome. Tell me what you guys thought of it.

I was able to catch this last night and in all honesty, it wasn't that bad, despite it being a screener copy. The kills and gore were by far the best here than in the previous entries. Since it's not officially out yet, I don't want to give too much away. If your a fan of the others than you might like this one too. Oh and keep an eye out during the first 10 or so minutes.....there's a neat little reference to the earlier movies

I have to start out by saying that I am a sucker for anthologies. With that said, Asylum was such amazing fun! Every aspect of the film was solid. The stories themselves were well directed, well acted and genuinely creepy. Normally this would be enough for me but I was also really intrigued by the main story that tied everything together.

I watched Trick R Treat, and was actually very bored. The story was very hard to follow, and the script was loaded with plot holes that didn't make sense at all. I felt like 20 minutes of film were scrambled up, and put into a movie.It kept jumping from past, to present. I liked the Halloween feel to the movie, and the scenic Halloween shots, but doubt I will ever watch it again. I can now see why this film was sitting on a shelf for 2 years. It should have stayed there.

I really never hear any talk about this movie. I think it's very under-rated and it's awesome. Toby Hooper did a great job directing it and it was a very good concept. Tell me what you guys thought of it.

After the opening kill scene I was expecting every cliché in the book and almost turned the thing off. I'm so glad that I didn't. The film takes quality time developing characters and relationships. You genuinely feel for the geeks (and basically everyone who the frat guys pick on) and are intrigued by the romances. I saw this last night in a theatre that was about an 10th full, maybe less (I was gonna say 9th as a pun, but hey, it was 9 pm on a sunday night, so I knew there wasn't gonna be that many). I am a huge fan of Tombs of the Blind Dead and I finally got around to watching the sequel.

This was always one of those films that I had heard was "so bad, it's good" which usually results in a pretty fun hour and a half. Unfortunately I thought it was just so bad.

This movie kicked ass! I wasn't sure if it would be gory or scary enough, but it sure was. It was like "Hostel" but via train ride.
A great eye pulling out scene, sex with a cadaver (not my cup of tea), sadistic torture scene with a sprinkle of incest looking horn dogs the are real creepy looking!
A must for any horror fan. Thora Birch, from American Beauty was the main star. She did a fabulous job and I hope to see her in more horror films in the...
